The Skopje Zoo community is mourning the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Riste Trajkovski, a beloved zookeeper known for his passion and dedication to caring for the zoo’s animals, particularly the giraffes.
Riste passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and love for wildlife that touched the hearts of many who knew him. His untimely death has left an indelible mark not only on the zoo where he worked but also on the broader animal care community in Skopje, Macedonia.
Riste Trajkovski had been a dedicated zookeeper at Skopje Zoo for several years, becoming particularly well-known for his work with the giraffes, which were his pride and joy.
