20-year-old Joseph Timothy Davis, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Joseph Davis was a Sophomore student at Pensacola Christian College and a member of the PCC Charole Club,

Until his death, Joseph Davis was a sophomore criminal justice major at Pensacola Christian College. “PCC extends deepest sympathies to the family of Joseph Davis, a sophomore criminal justice major who went home to be with the Lord on October 22, 2024,” a statement from the school reads.

Pensacola Christian College released the following statement;

As a student, Joseph was quite interested in university activities. He was an active member of various student organizations, including the PCC Chorale, which provided a meaningful outlet for his passion for music and religion. Joseph’s contemporaries appreciated him for his quiet but unwavering leadership, which included always lending a helping hand or a kind word to those in need.

Who Was Joseph Davis?

The 20-year-old was found suffering self-inflicted injury. He died moments later, and law enforcement agencies continued investigating the incident as a suicide. Joseph Davis was born on July 15, 2003, in Pensacola, Florida, to loving parents David and Emily Davis. Joseph showed a profound interest in the world around him and a passion for learning from an early age, which would characterize much of his life. Joseph was raised in a devoted Christian home, where he was imbued with strong morals and a deep faith that would lead him throughout his educational and personal life.
