Sabina Rosas Death: New York City Woman Found Murdered At luxury Hamptons Resort And Spa, Police Investigating

The tragic death of 33-year-old Sabina Rosas has shaken the upscale community of Water Mill, New York. Rosas, a Brooklyn resident, was found dead in a guest room at the exclusive Shou Sugi Ban House resort, located about 90 miles east of Manhattan.

Known for its serene and luxurious environment inspired by Japanese wabi-sabi principles, Shou Sugi Ban House is a wellness retreat frequented by high-profile guests seeking relaxation and renewal. The discovery of Rosas’ body on Monday afternoon, however, has cast a dark shadow over this otherwise peaceful sanctuary.

According to the Suffolk County Police, a resort employee discovered Rosas’ body around 12:30 p.m., prompting the arrival of Southampton Town Police and Suffolk County Homicide Squad detectives. Authorities quickly deemed the incident a homicide, noting that Rosas had been the victim of violence.

The specifics surrounding the nature of her death remain undisclosed as detectives continue their investigation, but police believe this was a targeted attack. Although no suspects have been publicly identified, police have assured the public that they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to local residents.

Shou Sugi Ban House, located on Montauk Highway, is renowned for its dedication to fostering a tranquil and healing environment, offering personalized wellness programs based on traditional Japanese philosophies. The resort’s secluded nature, coupled with its serene design and natural aesthetic, has made it a highly sought-after destination.

However, the crime has disrupted the peace that the resort is known to cultivate. This homicide has left community members and guests on edge, questioning the security measures of even the most high-end establishments.
