Brent Berkeley killed in Plymouth MA Shooting, David Gerome arrested

Authorities have identified the suspected gunman who was apprehended and the man who was fatally shot in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on Friday afternoon. Brent Berkley, 41, was identified as the victim. The 23-year-old David Gerome was apprehended and accused with murder, reckless endangerment of a child, and other offences.

According to the authorities, they were involved in a minor traffic incident that escalated into a physical altercation that culminated in the gunshot. David Gerome was in the car with his 18-month-old infant when the incident occurred, according to the police. Gerome maintained an active firearms license.

Gerome was apprehended without incident, according to the police. There were numerous witnesses who described a terrifying situation, as it occurred during dinnertime in the heart of the city. The victim, a 41-year-old male, was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, where he was declared deceased.

The police have not yet identified the victim or the suspect.
