I-83 Accident: 2 killed in fiery, multi-vehicle crash northbound Interstate 83 in Baltimore, MD

Law enforcement agencies in Baltimore, Maryland are investigating the report of a fiery and multi-vehicle collision northbound Interstate 83 on Wednesday. Two people have died in the accident that happened this evening (October 23, 2024.)

Law enforcement agencies including Baltimore County Police Department, and Baltimore County Fire Department were dispatched to the scene of a multi-car collision in the area of York Road unto I-83. “MULTI-VEHICLE COLLISION I83 North btwn 33-36 | Fire and HazMat crews on scene of a multi-vehicle collision with serious injuries | I83 closed at York Rd Expect major delays I83 North. According to the scanner, a tractor-trailer was reportedly fully involved in the flames. Law enforcement agencies closed the Ramp from York Road to 83. According to law enforcement agencies, the accident was involved an, electrical truck, a pickup, and a Ford ExpeditionAuthorities. Authiorities responded to the reports of a vehicle on a fire call on W. Britton near Maple Valley Dr near Burbank.

According to reports, more victims have been transported to an area hospital in unknown condition. Motorists have been urged to avoid the scene area at this time.
